The Pool Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 first floor bedrooms: one double and one twin. There are steep stairs to the first floor. The upstairs bathroom has a bath with shower over, with a separate WC and basin. The sitting room has a 3 seater sofa, two arm chairs and an open fire plus TV, DVD/video and radio/CD player. The kitchen/dining room has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge with freezer box. The dining table seats 4. There is a separate cloakroom with a WC on the ground floor.
The Pool Cottage is heated by convector heaters and an open fire in the sitting room. Electricity is included. The first bucket of fuel for the fire is provided, thereafter it is available at £3 per load. A travel cot and high chair are available on request. Bed linen is provided but please bring your own bedding for the cot. Please bring your own towels. Towels can be provided on request for £3 per set of one bath towel + one hand towel. Use of a washing facility is available on request at a charge of £5, which includes drying. There is parking for one car. One well-behaved pet is welcome but must not be left alone in the cottage. There is no smoking permitted in the cottage. There is a shop 4 miles away and a pub within one mile.
